Various materials are contained in
4 bottles. The child "estimates" how much is
contained in each bottle and records it. Then,
take an "actual count" and record it. Make a
comparison of the numbers and determine if the
estimate was greater or less than the actual
count. Change the number of the material weekly
to make it more challenging.

The lesson included 2 dice: a color die and a
number die. The child rolls the dice 6 times,
each time representing the combination with
various materials (such as colored pom-poms).
The teacher will demonstrate how to color the
bar graph (paper included) and answer the 12
comprehension questions on the back. (i.e. Which
color had the fewest pom-poms?, etc.)

This lesson has 3 levels of difficulty: Numbers
in the tens, Numbers in the hundreds, Numbers in
the Thousands (10 cards in each set) Measure 4"
x 5". See the golden bead material represented
in picture form, have the child say the number
aloud. Can be used in Numeral Formation.

These numerals are essential when laying out
golden bead material. You will need these when
the child is ready to associate the quantity
WITH the symbols. There is one LARGE set and 2
SMALL sets. Numerical symbols are color
coordinated: units in green, tens in blue,
hundreds in red, thousands in green 1-9000. Can
be used for addition with Golden Bead Material
(when you add 2 small numbers, you get a large
number).
